In latest news from Doon, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami went to the temple located in his official residence early morning and recited the couplets from Sri Ramcharitmanas to mark the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Thereafter, he went to the cowshed and fed the bovines. Hailing the consecration as a resurrection of the Sanatan Dharma, he said that under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stewardship, new life is being infused in the ancient culture of this country. “I am feeling elated witnessing the consecration of the newly built Ram temple.  This involves struggle for five centuries and martyrdom of many Ram devotees on the altar of the cause of the temple’s reconstruction and consecration. Not just I but the whole country has been gripped by an unprecedented religious fervour,” he said and exhorted the people to vow to keep temples and other important places clean. He further said that the posterity should be acquainted with the prolonged struggle involving the temple consecration and with the life of Lord Ram signifying self-denial and suffering to keep afloat Dharma.
