CM Dhami appoints Rishabh Pant as ‘State Brand Ambassador’ of Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has appointed Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant as the brand ambassador of the state for promoting sports and general health. Dhami took to Twitter and shared the news of appointing Pant as the ‘State Brand Ambassador’ with the aim of encouraging the youth of the state towards sports and public health. Dhami congratulated the cricketer over a video call and invited him for a meeting. Thanking Dhami, Pant tweeted,”Thank you @pushkardhami sir for giving me the opportunity to be the Brand Ambassador of promoting Sports and General Health among the people of Uttarakhand. I’ll do my best to spread this message and feeling happy that you are taking these steps towards a fitter India.”

Pant was born on October 4, 1997 in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. He is primarily known for his batting and wicket-keeping. Currently Pant is in South Africa for a three-match test series which will begin from December 26.
