The centenary of Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha, Punjab was celebrated at Saptarishi Ashram, Sapt Sarovar in Haridwar through three-day programme. While the Mahamandaleshwar Swami Avdheshanand Giri presided over the first day of the programme, the Governor Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh (Retd) participated in the celebration on the second day as the chief guest. Principals and teachers of some educational institutions were felicitated by the Governor for their special contributions in the field of education. Addressing the centenary celebration, the Governor said that the institution has been striving tirelessly in its 100 years of existence for propagating Sanatan Dharma, expanding education, preserving the country’s culture and facilitating welfare of the society, adding that Sanatan Dharma had faced many challenges in the past and grown stronger
