Dhami makes a slew of announcements for Champawat

The workers of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) organised a massive rally in Champawat on Friday to express gratitude for the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for bringing stringent anti copying law in Uttarakhand.

The rally commenced from the GIC Chowk to Gorel chaud ground and large number of youngsters took part in it. The CM Dhami and Member of Parliament (MP) from Almora- Pithoragarh seat Ajay Tamta attended the rally and acknowledged the greetings of the people while sitting in an open Jeep. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that the Uttarakhand government has brought most stringent anti copying act in country. He said that the decision of the State government has become a talking point in the entire country as the future of the youngsters appearing in the competitive examinations has become secure now.

He claimed that now no one would be able to play with the future of the youngsters. Large number of women also attended the rally.

Earlier in the day the CM inaugurated and laid foundation stone of 10 projects of Rs 4884.21 lakh for Champawat at district Collectorate. In the programme he ordered the officers concerned to work for better implementation of schemes associated with the welfare of the people.

During his visit of Champawat which is also his constituency the CM also inaugurated the office of divisional inspector (Technical) of transport department. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that he has taken a pledge for development of Champawat and the inauguration of the new office is a step in the direction of the commitment. He said that works like driving licence and issuing fitness certificate would be done in the new office which would save money and time of the people. Dhami said that he has set up a camp office of CM at district headquarter of Champawat and at Tanakpur for the speedy disposal of the issues of the people. He said that work on beautification of water fall has started in Champawat and the budget for setting up ISBT has been allotted.

The CM made a slew of declarations for the development of the district. He said that an Army school would be opened in Champawat and for it land would be provided free of cost.

He said that the tourism infrastructure would be developed in the land of PWD and animal husbandry department lying adjacent to the temple of Golu Devta. The government is planning to connect the temple with the Manaskhand project.
