The Bharatiya Janata Party State in-charge Dushyant Kumar Gautam said that the various historic works done by the State government under chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will prove to be a source of inspiration for other States and may be implemented in such States also.

In an informal interaction with media persons at the BJP State office here on Saturday, Gautam said that so far Dhami had successfully tackled various challenges. For the first time in the nation a strict anti-copying law was brought in Uttarakhand due to which the youth and general public are happy. The BJP’s policy of zero tolerance for corruption is also being implemented with full transparency, he claimed. Further, the anti-religious conversion law and the initiative towards uniform civil code are also commendable steps. Gautam said that Dhami has proved himself by working sensibly whether it be in tackling the recruitment scams or the land subsidence disaster in Joshimath.

“The Dhami government is moving swiftly towards what Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said about the coming decade belonging to Uttarakhand. Dhami is working on the vision of making Uttarakhand one of the leading Indian States by 2025. As envisioned by the PM, the BJP aims to not only win elections but also the hearts of the people. We have the support of the people and through various efforts the nation is moving forward,” opined Gautam.
