Youths are future of the country- Governor

 The governor of Uttarakhand Lieutenant General ( Retd) Gurmit Singh met the students under the Yuwa Sangam programme under the ‘ Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ campaign at Rajbhawan on Monday. In the programme the students of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry are taking part and they are on a tour of different states.  

Interacting with the students, the governor said that the excursion will give them hands-on experience with the arts, culture and economic development. He said that they should treasure their experience and lessons learnt during the visit.  

Singh said that the youngsters are the future of the country and with their contribution the target of making a developed India will be achieved.

In the programme the participants shared their experiences of Uttarakhand visit with the governor. The secretary to governor Ravinath Raman, additional secretary to governor Swati Bhadauria and others were present on the occasion.
