Youth Congress workers celebrate RaGa’s birthday

The 55th birthday of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was celebrated by the workers and leaders of the State unit of the party on Thursday. In Dehradun, the workers of Mahanagar Yuva Congress led by its president Mohit Mehta Moni distributed Sherbet to the general public near the State headquarters of the party. Organised under the ‘Mohobbat Ki Dukan’ programme, the Serbet distribution was attended by the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president Karan Mahara, vice president Suryakant Dhasmana and others leaders.

 Speaking on the occasion, the PCC president said that by the  Bharat Jodo Yatra and Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra programmes Gandhi rejuvenated the party cadre and helped the Congress party and INDI alliance in coming close to the power in centre. His election on the post of leader of opposition in Lok Sabha has infused a new energy into the elected representatives of the party. Expressing confidence in the leadership of Gandhi, the PCC presidents said that the party will come back to power at centre and State under him.

Mahanagar Yuva Congress president Mehta said that Gandhi is acting as a leading light for the youngsters.

The programme was attended by state spokesperson Abhinav Thapar, Navin Ramola, Ritesh Chetri, Vineet Bhatt, Robin Tyagi and others.
