Youngest Paramveer Chakra winner visits Shri Darbar Sahib

The youngest Paramveer Chakra winner of the country, Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav (retd) paid obeisance at Shri Darbar Sahib here on Tuesday. He also met Shri Darbar Sahib head, Mahant Devendra Das and shared his experiences in army life with the saint.  Notably, on July 4, 1999, he had been presented with India’s highest bravery honour for the exemplary valour he had exhibited during the Kargil War.

A resident of Aurangabad Aheer near Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, the retired army officer appreciated Shri Guru Ram Rai University’s education mission and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital’s health mission. “These institutions embody a great welfare vision,” Yadav said.
