A road accident happened in the morning on Friday in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand when a passenger vehicle fell into a gorge. Three women have died and three people have been seriously injured in the accident. According to the sources, the vehicle was going from Haldwani towards Thal and fell into the gorge near Banspatan of Pithoragarh district. As soon as the information about the accident of the vehicle was received, the Berinag police reached the spot along with the soldiers. All the injured were rushed to the hospital by ambulance and other government vehicles by the police team by conducting a relief-rescue operation. The doctors declared three women dead while treatment of other three people who were also in the vehicle is going on.
