The police caught a woman with stolen jewellery worth Rs 12.50 lakh while investigating a complaint lodged by Old Survey Road resident Rohit Sharma. The 21-year old Anchal, hailing from Bijnor district of Uttar Pradesh used to work as a domestic help in Sharma’s home. She was arrested on a tip off from the Dalanwala area on Saturday. During questioning, the police recovered the jewellery stolen from the complainant’s home from her. She was to be presented in the court later during the day.
