The recent spell of pre-monsoon showers has resulted in a drop in temperatures which were reaching 40 degrees Celsius in the plains. Dry weather is likely to prevail in the plains on Saturday.

The provisional State capital Dehradun is forecast to experience mainly clear to partly cloudy sky with the maximum and minimum temperatures likely to be about 35 degrees Celsius and 22 degrees Celsius respectively on Saturday.
