Vice-President of India CP Radhakrishnan met former Uttarakhand chief minister and former Union minister major general (retd) BC Khanduri in Dehradun during his visit on Saturday. The VP inquired about the health of the former CM.
Recalling their association as former Lok Sabha colleagues, the VP acknowledged Khanduri’s distinguished military service and his pivotal role in transforming India’s road infrastructure through the Golden Quadrilateral and National Highways Development Programme, including improved connectivity that aided the Coimbatore region’s growth.
Uttarakhand governor lieutenant general (rtd) Gurmit Singh and CM Pushkar Singh Dhami accompanied the VP.
