The renowned educationist and chairman of Venkateshwara Institute of Medical Sciences and Multispeciality Hospital, Sudhir Giri was presented with ‘Medical Health Education Excellence Award-2025’ for his outstanding medical and health services. The Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari honoured him with the award at a programme organised at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. Lauding the service being done by the medical institute Giri has been leading, Gadkari said that it has been providing excellent medical education, free medical treatment and health services to the residents of rural areas of western Uttar Pradesh.
Acknowledging the honour, Giri said that this would motivate him to serve the people even better in coming days.
