In latest news from Uttarakhand, further hardening stance on the Haridwar Municipal Corporation land scam, the chief minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the Vigilance department would probe it thoroughly and identify all those involved in it. Earlier, ten officers—including two IAS officers and one PCS officer—had been suspended with immediate effect while the service extensions of two other employees had been terminated.
Further, the fraudulent sale deed has been cancelled and recovery proceedings would be initiated against those who benefited from the scam.
