The two-day special session of the Vidhan Sabha has been extended by one more day. The house will now function on Wednesday as well. A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the business advisory committee (BAC) held in the Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday. The BAC decided to increase the duration of the house after many legislators expressed their desire to speak in the house. The special session is being held to mark 25th anniversary of the foundation of the State and to create a roadmap for the future of Uttarakhand. Discussions on the achievements and the challenges faced by the State are being held in the house in the special session.
