The State government coordinator for defence manufacturing, VS Rawat, local vendors and Uttarakhand Defence Manufacturers and Suppliers Association attended a vendor interaction meeting with Opto Electronics Factory, Dehradun, general manager SK Yadav.
The agenda of the meeting was ‘Make in India’ initiative of the Government of India which has been fully endorsed by the Government of Uttarakhand. Such meetings will be held with the local vendors of Uttarakhand in the future too in order to encourage the vendors to work in the spirit of ‘Make in India’ initiative.
