Terming the achievement of administering 200 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine by India as a historic feat, the Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that the vaccination is our only major weapon we have in the war against Covid-19 pandemic.
He said that the vaccine feat is the result of efficient leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the untiring efforts and hardships of the Covid warriors of the country.
He said that the government of India has now started the ‘ Amrit Mahotsava of the Covid vaccination’ under which a free precaution dose is being administered to all the beneficiaries between 18 to 59 years of age. Terming the vaccination essential for protection against Covid-19, the CM said that the state government has made necessary arrangements for the vaccination campaign.
He appealed that all the residents of the state who are above 18 years of age should get them inoculated with the vaccine of Covid-19 and also encourage others to get vaccinated. Dhami said that all the countrymen have valiantly combated against the pandemic of Covid-19 in the last two years under the leadership of PM Modi. He said that under Modi’s leadership a mega campaign of vaccination was undertaken and the country also supplied vaccines to other countries also in the period as a humanitarian gesture.
