Will prevent his entry in Joshimath if he doesn’t apologise: Chandola
The Gairsain Kranti Morcha State convener Naman Chandola has condemned the statement of BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt and demanded that Bhatt should apologise for stating that maoist elements are active in Joshimath. Speaking to the media person in Pauri, Chandola said that the statement of the BJP State president is condemnable. Chandola said that he himself had visited Joshimath and met the disaster affected people recently and supported the prortest of the Joshimath Sangharsh Samiti. The present movement underway in Joshimath is purely in the hands of the local people.The statement of BJP State president has hurt the sentiments of the people of Joshimath already affected by the land subsidence disaster, he said. Chandola stressed that Bhatt will be prevented from entering Joshimath if he doesn’t apologise for his statement. He said that Bhatt has elicited controversy in the past too with his statements on the current Badrinath MLA Rajendra Bhandari and on Covid-19. Chandola said that the Gairsain Kranti Morcha will raise the demands of the disaster affected people of Joshimath in the office of the Prime Minister.
