UPES partners with Kyndryl to launch centre of excellence for design & technology

UPES announced a landmark partnership with Kyndryl, the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, marking Kyndryl’s first-ever academic collaboration with a university in India.

UPES officials said that the students and faculty at the university would gain access to Kyndryl’s vast global client ecosystems across FinTech, Aviation, HealthTech, IT and beyond, positioning them at the forefront of human-centred design for resilient digital systems.

Speaking on the occasion, the vice- chancellor, UPES,Ram Sharma said that this partnership with Kyndryl has set a new benchmark for academia–industry integration in India.

As part of the MoU, the country leader and head of Design Strategy, Kyndryl India, Shaon Senguptadelivered a Service Design Workshop and interacted with students and faculty. Highlighting the significance of the partnership, she said, “This collaboration between UPES School of Design and Kyndryl marks an important milestone in ecosystem thinking where academia, faculty and industry come together to co-create.”
