UPES and Shri Guru Ram Rai University (SGRRU) entered into a collaboration aimed at academic excellence and holistic student development. Senior officers of these universities said that the collaboration establishes a strategic framework for mutual cooperation in areas of joint academic interest with a special emphasis on experiential learning, student training and knowledge exchange. They further said that both institutions together would facilitate institutional visits to provide immersive learning experiences.
Under this collaboration, UPES faculty and students will gain exposure to real-world healthcare environments through guided visits to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences—all key constituents of SGRR University. In turn, SGRR University students will have the opportunity to explore UPES’s advanced infrastructure in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM), engaging with faculty and participating in interactive, hands-on learning modules.
UPES said that a strong focus of the collaboration is on student training and development withspecialised career counselling support being extended to students from health sciences to help them explore and navigate diverse professional opportunities.
