Union Home Minister’s visit to Uttarakhand deferred

Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled visit to Uttarakhand on April 26 has been postponed, the Bharatiya Janata Party State president Mahendra Bhatt said.
He informed that Shah was expected to participate in a programme organised by the Cooperative department at the Forest Research Institute (FRI) in Dehradun.
He said that the party had completed all necessary preparations for his visit but due to unspecified reasons, the visit has now been postponed. He did not provide further details about the cause of the postponement but stated that the party will share updates once a new date is decided.
