Stating that Uttarakhand will be made a leading state in tourism by 2027, chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government will undertake special efforts in the spheres of tourism and power. Speaking at a programme here on Saturday, Dhami said that execution of road and rail projects will be expedited.
He further said that soon 6,000 villages in the state will be linked with internet. He had talked to the Union minister for Railway and Information Technology in this regard. Discussion had also been held for expediting work on the Rishkesh-Karnprayag rail project and the Tanakpur-Bageshwar broad gauge rail line survey.
