Uttarakhand Kranti Dal (UKD) on Wednesday announced a five-member committee following the dissolution of its central working committee. Addressing the media here on Wednesday, UKD patron BD Raturi said that the central working committee of the party that was formed on May 16, 2017, was dissolved after two years of its term. The party was unable to form new central working committee within the stipulated time period as a result of which a five-member committee was formed until the further elections.
Raturi said, “The central working committee has completed its term of two years and stands dissolved. The party members have mutually decided to form a committee of five members under DD Joshi as the coordinator till the new central working committee is formed.”
This committee will undertake various tasks including preparation for the party’s biennial session which is likely to be held by July 15-16. Kashi Singh Airy, BD Raturi, Narayan Singh Jantwal, Trivendra Singh Panwar and Pushpesh Tripathi are members of this committee.Thursday, 16 May 2019 | PNS | Dehradun
