A tree plantation and environment conservation programme was organised at Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL) headquarters in Ujjwal, Dehradun, to mark the World Environment Day. A number of senior officers, including the managing director Sandeep Singhal, director (Operations) Vinay Mishra and executive director (Finance) Sudhakar Badoni, along with its employees planted trees in the campus.
Singhal exhorted all working for the corporation to be aware of their responsibility towards the next generation as regards environment with stress laid on planting and protecting trees as well as adopting an environment friendly lifestyle.
