UGB registers Rs 988 crore business growth in 2022-23

The Uttarakhand Gramin Bank achieved a business growth of Rs 988 crore in the year 2022-23, said the bank’s chairman Hari Har Patnaik while addressing the media here on Thursday. The business growth rate of the bank during this period has been 10.60 per cent which was better as compared to last year’s 7.80 per cent. He further said, “We thank our customers for trusting the bank along with the stakeholders and bank employees for giving their best. During the said financial year, UGB distributed Rs 200 crore loan to 10,708 beneficiaries in schemes sponsored by the Central and State governments. We also opened two new branches of the bank in the State.”

Patnaik further informed that the net NPAs of the bank decreased from 3.04 per cent to 1.50 per cent. A one time settlement scheme was also conducted in which 952 beneficiaries deposited Rs 12.72 crore. Patnaik also informed about the achievements of the bank in various other tasks including social insurance schemes among others.
