Uttarakhand Council for Biotechnology (UCB) and Central Poultry Development Organisation (CPDO) Chandigarh, jointly held a two-day poultry farming camp for the farmers at Dharkot and Kotomaichak villages in Dehradun that commenced on June 9. The CPDO director, Kamna and the UCB director Sanjay Kumar jointly inaugurated the camp.
Kumar in his address spoke of the livelihood enhancement opportunities being offered to the villagers through livestock rearing and poultry farming. The CPDO team trained the villagers on the modern techniques of poultry farming.
