Union Bank of India has been awarded the first prize for its outstanding performance in promoting the Rajbhasha’ (Hindi) in the zone ‘B’ for the financial year 2024-25. Along with other senior officers of the bank, the general manager, Girish Chandra Joshi received the award.
A two-day seminar and review meeting focused on Rajbhasha was held in Mussoorie on June 12 and 13 in coordination with Union Bank of India under the aegis of Department of Financial Services, Government of India. The main objective of this event was to promote the effective implementation of Rajbhasha in financial institutions and to review its progress.
