TVS Motor Company announced on Thursday the launch of TVS Ntorq 150, India’s fastest hyper-sport scooter. The company sources claimed that powered by a 149.7cc race-tuned engine, this scooter, with its stealth aircraft design, is a fusion of high performance, sporty looks and cutting-edge technology that might appeal to the new generation of riders. It has been launched with a special introductory price of Rs 1,19,000 (ex-showroom, all India).
Commenting on the launch, senior vice-president (Head Commuter & EV Business and Head Corporate Brand & Media) at TVS Motor Company, Aniruddha Haldar said, “More than 20 lakh Ntorq riders and over 50 self-managed rider groups and communities define the relationship that has been built between one of India’s most loved and iconic automotive brands and its riders. TVS Ntorq has always been synonymous with attractive design, great performance and new technology. The new TVS Ntorq 150 is designed to meet the evolving high-performance aspirations of Generation Z.”
The company officials further said that the scooter’s stealth aircraft design is a bold statement with sharp lines, aggressive stance and sporty aesthetics. Beyond just looks, the design is also a testament to its hyper-sport nature, suggesting a machine built for speed and agility. This design philosophy aligns with the aspirations of a new generation of riders, they added.
Haldar further noted that the Ntorq brand has already built a strong community of riders and the introduction of the Ntorq 150 is designed to further energise this community by offering an even more thrilling option. “This move is not just about a new product; it is about expanding the brand’s footprint and reinforcing its image as a leader in performance and innovation,” he added.
