A popular TV actor, Shefali Jariwala- well-appreciated for her iconic single ‘Kaanta Laga’ in 2002 based on a remix of an old Lata Mangeshkar song from the 1972 movie ‘Samadhi’-passed away at the age of 42. Sources at the hospital in suburban Mumbai to which she was admitted said that the on-duty doctor had declared her dead on arrival. As per media reports, she died of a heart attack though it was yet to be confirmed by her family.
Jariwala became popular through her participation in reality shows like ‘Nach Baliye’, a dance-based show series and later, Salman Khan-hosted ‘Bigg Boss 13’.
Jariwala’s sudden and untimely death has sent shockwaves across the film industry.
