Tourists rejoice as Badrinath, Hemkund and other high altitude areas witness heavy rainfall. They were seen taking up adventurous sports like skiing, snowboarding, etc. Shimla too has received the first snow of the season and is expected to see a huge number of tourists in the coming days. The Shimla meteorological centre has issued a three-day yellow alert and has warned of heavy snow and rainfall.
