The road trip is all set to become more expensive as the commuters will have to shell out extra money at the Lacchiwala toll plaza with the rate being increased from April 1 from the existing Rs 95 to Rs 100. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced the increase in the tax rate. This rise in toll tax would prove double whammy for the travellors as they already have been reeling under continuous rise in fuel prices. As an impact of this increase, the roadways buses may raise fares. Even those who have their own vehicles may face problems due to these increased rates in toll taxes.
