Three more people test positive for Covid-19

The cumulative number of positive Covid-19 cases in Dehradun has reached 38, with three new cases reported on Tuesday. Informing about this, the Chief Medical Officer of Dehradun Dr Manoj Kumar Sharma stated that three more local cases were confirmed on Tuesday. With the cumulative total reaching 38, out of which 30 are local cases, seven involving migrants and one from Haridwar. Currently, there are three active Covid-19 cases in the district; one individual is being cared for at home, while two others are receiving treatment at Subharti Hospital, he said.
Dr Sharma also said that 14 samples were tested for Covid-19 on Tuesday, bringing the total number of samples tested so far to 296. Importantly, there have been no reported deaths related to Covid-19 in Dehradun.
It will be recalled that earlier, Health secretary R Rajesh Kumar urged all citizens to avoid spreading rumours, act responsibly and adhere to the guidelines issued by the Health department.
