Two patients are being treated at Himalayan Hospital, one at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and one at Graphic Era Hospital.
This recent report brings the total of ELISA-positive dengue cases to 21, comprising 13 patients from Dehradun and eight from other districts or states till now. In total, there are currently 12 patients hospitalised, with nine admitted to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, one at Graphic Era Hospital and two at Himalayan Hospital. Dr Sharma further said that 55 dengue samples were collected on Friday, contributing to an overall total of 968 samples collected to date.
Notably, concerns have been raised this year due to the early onset of dengue cases, as April has historically not seen such outbreaks. To help prevent dengue infections, residents are advised to wear full-sleeve clothing and eliminate stagnant water around their homes or surroundings
