MIT volunteers take out Clean Ganga rally in Rishikesh

The volunteers of MIT Dhalwala Rishikesh under national service scheme took out a rally to take the message of clean Ganga to the people at large. The rally was taken out on the fourth day of the seven-day special camp being organised now with the  cooperation of the municipality of Muni Ki Reti. The participants of the rally carried festoons and placards that read that the single-use plastics should not be used at all in the interests of clean Ganga and clean environment. Notably, the volunteers of   the institute under its service mission remain engaged in service works while camping at Shri Kabir Choura Ashram in Muni Ki Reti and this camp would continue for seven days. The rally passed through Ram Jhula and ended at Ram Jhula taxi stand. Speaking of the voluntary service being rendered by the students, the MIT director Ravi Juyal said that the students have been doing exemplary voluntary service.
