The Tehri district magistrate, Nitika Khandelwal reviewed progress of several projects pertaining to Jal Jeevan Mission here on Monday. She took stock of block-wise progress of works from the officials of Jal Nigam and Jal Sansthan. The blocks involved are Chamba, Devprayag, Ghansali, Muni ki Reti and New Tehri.
The officers apprised the progress of Har Ghar Jal Certification, progress of TPI (P-1) and work of running water connection in homes. The DM directed them to upload data regularly on PM Gati Shakti Portal so that information about the physical and financial progress of the works is available online.
Among the senior officers present at the review meeting was the district chief development officer, Varuna Agarwal.
