CM Dhami and Rajya Sabha MP (designate) Kalpana Saini felicitated in Roorkee

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and Rajya Sabha Member designate Kalpana Saini were given a rousing welcome in a programme organised by the BJP at Nehru Stadium of Roorkee in Haridwar district on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion Dhami said that the hard work and dedication of BJP workers has helped in breaking myths in the recent assembly elections and reinstatement of BJP government in the state.  He congratulated Kalpana Saini for being elected unopposed in the Rajya Sabha and said that she would hold the responsibility with full commitment and honesty.

Expressing his commitment to make Uttarakhand, leading state of the country till the year 2025, CM said that it would be achieved by coordination between state and union governments. He said that the philosophy of ‘integral humanism’ would be fulfilled by serving the nation and the motherland. Dhami said that the victory in the assembly elections has increased the responsibility and there is no time to rest for him and the government. He said that his government is committed to provide basic facilities in all villages, increase employment opportunities and enrich our cultural identity.

Dhami said that the work culture of the government has witnessed a change after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister. He said that work on providing 10 lakh new employment is being done under leadership of PM Modi.

 Cabinet minister Satpal Maharaj congratulated the CM Dhami for the historic victory in the Champawat by elections and said that the state is moving on the path of development under the leadership of CM Dhami. He said that the state government is working on the principle of ‘commitment without alternative’. Maharaj also congratulated Saini for getting elected to Rajya Sabha.

The State president of BJP Madan Kaushik, Haridwar MP  Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, MLAs Pradeep Batra, Adesh Chauhan and others were present on the occasion.
