In latest news from Uttarakhand, the four-day 115th annual farmers fair and agro-industrial exhibition to be hosted by GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnagar will commence on March 9. The dates were decided at a meeting chaired by the university’s vice-chancellor Manmohan Singh Chauhan. He informed that while about 10000 farmers are expected to attend the fair and the exhibition more than 400 stalls-150 big and 250 small- would come up this year. He further said that the former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and the Union minister Ajay Bhatt will be present at the formal inauguration of the fair on March 10.
