After the Kumaun University administration announced the election date on September 27, the student leaders contesting for various posts in the student union elections at the university’s DSB campus it is abuzz with activities with a week left for the poll.
ABVP organised a rally for its presidential candidate, Tanishq Mehra during which the candidate and his supporters interacted with students and discussed election issues and campus problems.
So far, two names-Tanishq Mehra and Karan Sati- have emerged for the post of student union president along with the names of Ayush Arya for secretary, Dinesh Chandra and Shashank Bhadari for vice president, Nitant Pant for deputy secretary and Shivesh Kumar for treasurer. Further, the name of Bhavesh Vishwakarma is emerging for the post of cultural secretary.
