In latest news from Doon, the State Sports minister Rekha Arya directed the Sports department officers and members of the Uttarakhand Olympic Association to hold district and State-level sports events to mark the World Olympic Day slated on June 23. She further asked the officers to draw a plan in two days, suggesting the sports activities to be held at the State and district levels to commemorate the occasion.
She stressed on engaging maximum number of youths from each district of the State in the commemorative events through intensive publicity campaign.
