The Sri Sathya Sai Run and Ride Marathon was organised on Sunday by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation in collaboration with Saigrace Academy International, Dehradun, which served as the venue partner. Celebrated under the motto “Spirit of Unity”, the event formed an integral part of the Centenary Year Initiative, upholding the vision of the Sri Sathya Sai FR India Movement.
The event witnessed the participation of nearly 2000 individuals, including students, parents, staff members and citizens from the wider community. Participants competed in the three, five and 10 kilometres runs apart from which a cycle race was also held.Lt Gen (retd) AL Bakshi was the chief guest while president of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation Uttarakhand, Yogendra Kumar, Saigrace Academy International principal Kiran Ahluwalia and others were also present.
