Noted educationalist K P Mohanan has said that the national education policy- 2020 would prove to be a milestone under the current circumstances and every section of the society would be benefited by it. He was addressing the inaugural session of the international conference titled ‘contemporary teaching pedagogy in a pluralistic society’ on Friday.
The two day conference is being organised under the joint aegis of the department of teacher education DAV PG college and the Council for Educational Administration and Management (CEAM), Uttarakhand chapter. Mohanan said that the education policy would fulfil the concept of Samagra Shiksha and help in making the students inclusive on a global platform.
The chief patron and general secretary of the Dayanand Shiksha Sansthan, Manvendra Swaroop said that emphasis should be made to make education employment oriented. The principal of DAV PG college, Ajay Saxena opined that pluralistic education is an important need of 21st century. On the opening day three technical sessions were held. More than 100 students, teachers and educationalists participated in the online conference.
