Shah assures all possible assistance to Uttarakhand

Considering the ongoing monsoon and the disasters taking place in the State, Union Home minister Amit Shah assured chief minister that the Central government is deploying emergency relief agencies National Disaster Response Force (NDRF)/Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) so that the Char Dham Yatra is not disrupted and to prevent any inconvenience to the pilgrims. Shah said this during a telephonic conversation with Dhami on Friday during whichhe sought detailed information about the situation in Kedarnath and other vulnerable locations in Uttarakhand and the impact of heavy rains in the State.   

Considering the seriousness of the situation, the Union minister assured all necessary cooperation of the Centre to the State. He also assured the chief minister that maintaining continous monitoring of very vulnerable districts, all possible assistance will be provided by the Centre. Taking to X, Dhami thanked the Union Home minister for his sensitive and active approach in addressing the issues being faced by Uttarakhand.
