Wants all the discrepancies removed in the cashless health scheme within 15 days

The Uttarakhand Secretariat Association has threatened to return golden cards issued under the Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Yojana (AAUY) if the discrepancies in the cashless health scheme are not removed within 15 days. This decision was taken in an open meeting of the association in the state secretariat on Friday. The president of the association Deepak Joshi said that the authorities concerned have been informed many times about the problems faced by the employees and retired workers during treatment. He warned that if the issues are not resolved then all the workers of secretariat would collect all their cards and hand them over to the office of CEO of State Health Agency and no deduction from salary for the scheme thereafter would be allowed.

In the meeting the association also demanded that the offices in secretariat where Covid cases have been reported should be closed for three days so that proper sanitisation is done. It also said that the state government should set up a 20-25 bed ‘Covid care centre’  in the secretariat for secretariat workers.
