Second jumbo mowed down by train within 2 days

In latest Uttarakhand news, an elephant was mowed down by a moving train late into night in the Ampokhra range of the west Terai forest division near Ramnagar. The forest officers said that the autopsy of the dead elephant was being conducted, adding that the elephant carcass was found around 50 metres away from rail tracks near gate number 64 in Ampokhra range.  They further said that it was a male one aged around 25 years. Notably, a jumbo died same kind of death in Haridwar a few days ago.
