She has asked the officials to subsequently coordinate with the health department to deploy paramedics on all such tracks to ensure that the medical facilities can be provided in critical times. She issued the order to the respective district officials through video conferencing on Wednesday. She also asked the officials to make arrangements of food packets at each SDRF post to ensure they can be provided to pilgrims in emergency situations. She said that all types of equipment available at the posts must be checked thoroughly to ensure they are in good working condition.

The respective officials must make demands for more equipment or other necessary items on time as per the requirement, said Aggarwal. SDRF also plays a crucial role in security arrangements and helping women, children and elderly in getting easy Darshan during Char Dham Yatra considering which SDRF personnel must carry out such humanitarian tasks besides rescue operations with full dedication too. She said that all in-charges must also ensure that all SDRF personnel posted on duty are healthy and fit physically and mentally to carry out their duties during Char Dham Yatra.
