In latest news from Uttarakhand, about 35 children escaped unhurt while the school bus they were travelling in caught fire near Motahaldu in the Lalkuan area. It is learnt that the children were brought out of the bus before the fire that started at the engine supposedly due to short circuit reached them. The police and the fire department personnel reached the site upon being informed and the blaze was put down. Speaking on the matter, the senior superintendent of police, Nainital Prahlad Meena said that the school students remained unhurt and they were taken to their school. He further said that they were now ascertaining the cause of the fire in the school bus.
