Satpal Maharaj conducts door-to-door campaign in Pauri Garhwal

MLA Satpal Maharaj conducted a door-to-door campaign in the areas of Naugaonkhal, Ranswa, Dharasu, Tunakhal, etc. under the Ekeshwar block in Uttarakhand’s Pauri Garhwal district on Monday. Maharaj said that the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) government has increased the pension for the disabled widows and senior citizens from Rs 1200 to Rs 1500 as well as the honorarium for Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) and Anganwadi workers which have been increased by Rs 1800. He mentioned the achievements of the BJP government and said that the government gives equal rights to women in husbands’ ancestral property for women’s empowerment in the state. He further gave information on the developmental work done by him in the Chaubattakhal assembly constituency and said that roads worth Rs 189.84 crores have been approved by him under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). He also stated that five lift irrigation schemes worth Rs 10.84 crores have been approved by him improve the irrigation system in the area.
