A retired teacher was killed and his daughter- in- law was seriously injured as the car they were travelling in skidded off the Baijro Road in Malli Barmari area before crashing into a gorge. Police said that the deceased identified as Jagat Singh Negi (64), resident of Bhaiswara, was killed on the spot. They further said that Negi was going to Gangaou to drop his daughter- in- law at her parental house when he lost control over the car, resulting in the accident.
