Resolve district level issues at districts: CM to officers

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has directed that the district level issues should be sorted out and disposed of at the district level. He warned that strict action would be initiated against the officers concerned if the files of district level works are sent to the State administration. The CM heard the issues and complaints of the people during the ‘Mukhya Sewak Aapke Dwar’ programme organised at his camp office in Champawat district on Friday. In the programme the CM tersely told the officers to dispose of the complaints at local level and at a fast pace. He said that the issues of the people should be taken on priority.  In the programme many people and organisations apprised the CM about their problems. He said that efforts are being made to ensure that the construction of the Sharda Ghats is done under the Namami Gange mission. He directed the DM of Champawat to prepare a proposal of Ma Sharda Arti under Namani Gange and submit it to the State government.  The CM said that the State government is trying to develop a circuit under the Mandir Mala mission so that lakhs of pilgrims visiting the Purnagiri temple also visit Champawat, Lohaghat, Pithoragarh and other districts. Dhami informed that the ropeway to connect the Purnagiri temple would be ready soon. He said that the government is planning to organise Chaupal programmes in the villages so that the remote and border areas are developed.

In the programme the CM provided economic assistance to Fakhruddin of Khunna village by giving him a cheque of Rs 50,000. The district magistrate of Champawat, Narendra Singh Bhandari, superintendent of police Devendra Pincha, chairman of the municipality Vipin Sharma, BJP district president Hema Joshi and others were present in the programme.
