A memorandum of understanding for ‘ Police Salary Package ‘ was inked for the welfare of all the State police employees between Uttarakhand Police Headquarters and Bank of Baroda at Uttarakhand police headquarters in Dehradun.
While on behalf of Uttarakhand Police, director general of police Ashok Kumar and I G Headquarters (Personnel) Vimi Sachdeva were present, the Bank of Baroda was represented by the Bareilly zonal general manager M Anil and regional head Dehradun Netra Mani.
It is learnt that under this MoU, accident insurance up to Rs one crore five lakh and life insurance cover up to Rs five lakh will be provided to the Uttarakhand police employees by Bank of Baroda. Besides, loan facilities will be provided to all police personnel at low interest rates.
